With the death of Osama bin Laden, al-Qaeda appears to be on the verge of collapse. But in the midst of several intentionally failed attacks, al-Qaeda is secretly plotting to unleash a monumental attack so catastrophic it would annihilate western civilization and lead to total Islamic world domination. Nasi Ahsan, bin Laden's successor, and his deadly al-Qaeda team are hiding in plain sight all across the United States. From Amish country to Wall Street to the White House, Ahsan's clandestine network has infiltrated the most powerful and strategic US defenses, leaving America and four other non-Islamic world powers exposed to its deadly assault. But what the terrorists aren't prepared for is Teddy Brewer, a non-assuming Arabic expert in the Department of Homeland Security, and a small group of American patriots who sacrifice their own security in a valiant attempt to save millions of lives-and the American way. An avid reader, this will be his second book. His first work is a non-fiction book, Coaching Made Easier, How to Successfully Manage Your Youth Baseball Team which was published by Coaches Choice of Monterrey, CA in 2009. This book was birthed from his love of youth baseball and his coaching experiences. When he started coaching he looked for a book that would teach him how to be a good coach. He found countless drills and skills books but none directed exclusively at the volunteer coach. Consequently, he developed his own system and after he stopped coaching he put it into a book to assist other coaches. His system worked— in his nine-year record as a head coach he landed five league championships and four runner-up titles.
Academically, the author holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He resides in Brentwood, Tennessee with his wife of forty-one years, Lisa, a well-known Interior Designer that has worked in Los Angeles, Nashville and the Gulf Coast. They have two adult children—daughter, Whitney Huff Phelps, is married to Dylan Phelps. Both are graduates of the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky and son Austin who is a recent graduate of the University of Missouri with a Journalism degree and works in sports-talk radio in Nashville. He married his college sweetheart, Meredith Roberts. The author has had the joy of seeing both of his children run onto Division 1 football fields—his daughter as a cheerleader at Kentucky and his son as a Mizzou football player.
Rod values his family life, serves on several for profit and non-profit boards, and is a Deacon in his local church in Tennessee.
